Corduroy Love!
Depending on where you live, I know the weather can actually hurt your face/soul. That's how it was feeling the past few weeks here in Boston at least. I was actually slowly dying inside with the negative windchill we were getting. Luckily, it warmed up for about 5 seconds and we had 60 degree weather. Kidding, it was a good 3 warm January days. For those bone chilling days my go to thing is LAYERS. LAYERS. LAYERS!
Here I started with the main piece as my corduroy dress. I chose all the other pieces around that one piece. This dress is a thick material, if you know what corduroy is so it's fit for winter and cold temps. I wanted to keep my legs warm so I paired it with this thick opaque black tights. You could switch out the tights for other style or material according to your location and season. In warmer winter weather you could pair it with fishnets, or see-through black tights. Maybe chose a fun design to bring a little flare to it. I'm so obsessed with this dress that I got it in black too, and they have more colors. I want it in navy blue too. It looks so good with a fun sweater and belting it with boots and tights. I can't wait to wear it more. I saw this amazing girl on IG wearing something like this with thinner layers. Also, I'm so excited, they added MORE colors in denim material for spring/summer. I'M SO GETTING IT!
These boots from Bershka are so cute. They are comfy, and definitely slip resistant with the wedges under it. One thing I didn't like was hiding my awesome flare sleeves under this coat from Zara. I'm a huge fan of fun sleeves so I had to give you a peep here with the jacket dropped over my shoulders. This coat is from last year from Zara, but so many other options have come back this season too and some less expensive than what i got it for. I added a hat to bring all the black from the bottom to balance on top as well, I wanted the only colors to be the dress and shirt.
