If you told yourself, Yes, it can be worn casually, then you're right! Fashion girls always push the limits and think outside the box on how to style certain pieces. To make a statement, you gotta be different. Before, the button up used to be a symbol of wealth and only people who didn't work would be able to wear it to symbolize how they couldn't get the whiteness of the shirt dirty. After celebrities brought it to hollywood, it became attainable to everyone.
From feminine to masculinity, the shirt later took a turn to an androgynous look instead of pin-uppy and ruffly and revealing style. I took more of a masculine, casual look on this outfit. Changing from "smart" pants to jeans and loafers to booties, I changed the look completely around.
I layered my camel coat with a "salt & pepper" colored cardigan, a grey scarf and some neutral booties. I left my white shirt untucked for a laid back look as well.
